Jumping to the conclusion
Truly, when you don't know a person well, you will likely jump to the conclusion about that person. I don't mean this type of judgement is wrong, On the other hand, I think it's the societies that causes people to have a rash decision of something. In order to avoid false conclusions. You should observe more than assume.
My examples of false conclusions I've experienced fall into these :
- I told some people that I like meditation and going to temples. They didn't believe me because my hair is blonde and I like wearing short shorts. ( If you live in Thai societies and know Thai cultures, you will know what I mean)
- Girls who enjoy clubbing are not nice because they drink alcohol and like dancing with guys, they misbehave the religion lessons. ( I don't think drinking alcohol and going out at nights connect with religion lessons)
- Having an affair with someone is immoral. (I don't believe in the standard of moralities. Moralities don't need any kind of standards, but it is what are right or wrong for you as long as you do no harm to others NOT what are good or bad for societies and the majority of people).
- Abortion is bad. Yes, I don't support abortion, but once you 're bounded into an unwanted pregnancy, you have your freedom of choice to do things ( when it's not illegal, of course) then an abortion is okay for an unwanted pregnancy and young moms.
- Smoking and drinking are bad.(This is too funny when one says " why? you have to smoke" ? 'Smoking is not good and drinking is bad' , I have to go back and ask the question of how is it bad?.' If it's bad because of the heath issue, then maybe that person should not drink a lot and follow the doctor's prescription or something ,however, sometimes, we tend to say things without thinking throughly and unconscious cultures interfere our mind to decide what to say quickly base on what we're taught most about alcohols and cigarettes.
- A quiet person is a dumb. ( a quiet person is not a dumb, but they know when to say, they will observe and say when it's the right time to say)
- Young faces, young ages = lack of experiences and unreliable. ( Wrong wrong wrong!, I have known a young person who is very genius, not only for academic serves, but things surround her in the world. You can notice those people by observing if they like asking questions. If they do, they are mostly cleaver.
- Treating people base on appearances and statues. A friend of mine wore a shirt and worn out jeans to buy cars. As she walked in to the showroom, none of the officers welcome her. She was a little upset and brought a stack of cash PERIOD.
Apologies and great services came.
Alright, these are just samples and how I ;ve experienced with the incidents and what I believe. I don't have any intention to insult anyone. My writing doesn't mean I'm right or wrong, but to demonstrate my experiences to readers.
Thank you & Stay tuned for more :)
AW.
